Lauren Spencer joined Baylor in November 2023 and currently serves in Front Office Administration as the Assistant AD for Governance and Regulatory Affairs. She is also the Title IX liaison for athletics to the university Title IX office and serves as the sport program administrator for women’s basketball.
Spencer was previously the head women’s tennis coach for Auburn University & Southern Methodist University.
Spencer earned her degrees from Louisiana Tech University and Arkansas State University.
Spencer is originally from Groesbeck, Texas. She is married to Stephen Spencer, and the couple has 3 sons: Courtney James, Atticus and Patton.
