Max Goetcheus serves Baylor Athletics as an Associate Director of Event Management & Facilities.
He was originally hired on as Operations Coordinator in August 2023. He was elevated to Assistant Director in August 2024 and promoted to Associate Director in August 2026.
He focuses on event management for Tennis and serves as the visiting team host for Football while providing day-to-day operational support to the Event Management and Facilities Department.
Prior to Baylor, Goetcheus worked as a Valparaiso Athletics Event Management & Facilities Student Worker covering a variety of sports and events, and as a Baylor Event Management & Facilities Graduate Assistant in Acrobatics & Tumbling, Basketball, and Tennis operations.
The Grand Rapids, Michigan, native graduated with his Bachelor’s in Sport Management in 2021 from Valparaiso University.
