Read Jackson joined the Baylor Bear Foundation in June 2026 as Director of Resource Development. In his role, he works alongside the Assistant AD of Development to oversee a portfolio of donors and prospects, with an emphasis on growing annual giving to the Bear Foundation and supporting excellence funds for sport-specific philanthropic initiatives.
A native of Belton, Texas, Jackson's Baylor experience began as a student in August 2020. During his time on campus, he served as a student manager for Baylor Women's Basketball from 2022-24 before transitioning into the role of Operations Graduate Assistant from 2024-26.
In that position, he assisted with all aspects of team operations, including travel, equipment, practice coordination, fundraising, fan engagement events, team meals, ticket management, scheduling, youth camps and internal team activities.
Jackson earned both of his degrees from Baylor University, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 2024 and a Master of Science in Education in Sport Management in 2026.
Jackson is engaged to Annabeth Frueh (B.S. '24), whom he met during their freshman year at Baylor in 2020. The couple is set to be married in June 2027.
