Samuel Brendle serves as a Football Athletic Performance Fellow within Baylor Athletics, where he supports the Football Strength & Conditioning program and contributes to the overall development, training, and performance of Baylor Football student-athletes.
Brendle joined Baylor in February 2026, bringing a strong background in collegiate strength and conditioning with experience across multiple Division I football and Olympic sport programs. Prior to arriving in Waco, he served as Assistant Director of Sports Performance at Anderson University from 2023–2026, where he also worked as Assistant Strength Coach for Football and served as Head Strength Coach for both Baseball and Track & Field.
Earlier in his career, Brendle worked at Jacksonville State University as a Graduate Assistant in 2022, where he assisted with Football Strength & Conditioning and served as Head Strength Coach for Women’s Soccer. He also completed strength and conditioning internships at Clemson University in 2021, working with both Olympic sports and Football, as well as an earlier internship with the University of Arkansas Football program in 2020.
Brendle earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an Exercise Specialty from Anderson University and his Master’s degree in Sports Management from Jacksonville State University.
