WACO, Texas - Anthony Hensley smacked a three-run double to centerfield to spark eight runs in the seventh inning and lead the Baylor baseball team to a 13-3 win over Dallas Wednesday night at the Baylor Ballpark.
Senior reliever Joe Ratliff (1-0) earned the win, giving up one run on two hits in two and one-third innings. Dallas starter Rob Brauch took the loss, giving up four earned runs on seven hits in four innings of work.
While Dallas got on the board first with a run in the second, Baylor responded with a run in the third, three in the fourth and eight in the seventh.
With the win, the Bears improve to 32-12 on the season, while the Crusaders fall to 27-9.
Seventh-ranked Baylor plays host to No. 5 Texas Friday at 7 p.m. The game is sold out. Gates open at 5 p.m.
