NORMAN, Okla. - Every Baylor player in the lineup got a hit as the Baylor baseball team cruised to a 15-3 win over Big 12 rival Oklahoma Friday night in Norman.
The game was called after the seventh inning due to the conference 12-run rule. With the win, the Bears improve to 19-8 overall, 6-4 in the conference, while the Sooners fall to 15-11 on the season and 4-3 in league play.
Right-hander Chad Hawkins (4-4) finally got some run support, and earned the win. The senior scattered ten hits and three runs over seven innings. Oklahoma starter Rocky Cherry (2-4) took the loss, giving up seven runs on nine hits in just three innings.

In the third inning, Kelly Shoppach and Mike Huggins smacked back-to-back doubles to get into scoring position before Matt Williams hit an RBI single and Tim Hartshorn slugged a two-run homer to right field to give Baylor a 7-1 lead heading into the bottom of the third.
Shoppach belted a three-run homer in the fourth to spark a five-run inning and secure the win for Baylor. The Bears combined for four doubles and two home runs on the evening.
