COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Bears scored runs in the first seven innings as the Baylor baseball team cruised to a 13-4 win over Big 12 foe Missouri Saturday afternoon.

In the third, Jace Brewer doubled to left field and Kelly Shoppach was hit by the pitcher to put runners in scoring position. Matt Williams walked to load the bases and Chris Durbin hit a two-run single to centerfield. Anthony Hensley then hit a sacrifice fly to center to bring in Williams and give the Bears a 5-0 lead.
Missouri (20-13, 7-7) responded with a run in the third and a pair of runs in the fourth, but Baylor hit the ball well and played excellent defensively, turning three double plays, to keep the lead throughout the game.
