Iowa State Ends Bears' Season With 76-64 Loss

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Despite DeMarcus Minor's season-high 27 points, Baylor fell to Big 12 champion Iowa State Friday, 76-64, in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City, Mo.
The Bears finished their first season under Dave Bliss 14-15, marking an eight-win increase from a year ago.
Big 12 Player of the Year Marcus Fizer set a tournament record, scoring 38 points for the Cyclones. Two other Baylor players also scored in double figures. Ben Echols scored 12 points to go with nine rebounds, while Terry Black added 10 points.
