ANOTHER FIRST...
The Lady Bears added another `first' to their achievements of the season. The victory over #7 Iowa State was Baylor's first win over a Top 10 team.
ONLY BAYLOR...
In NCAA Division I statistics posted Jan. 22, Baylor is the only school to have two players ranked in the top 10 in scoring. In fact, you have to go down to #23 before you get a duplicate.
Baylor's junior guard Sheila Lambert ranks #3 nationally at 24.7, while junior forward Danielle Crockrom ranks #7 with 22.7.
LAMBERT ON THE LOOSE...
Sheila Lambert is showing why she's a serious contender for Big 12 Player of the Year honors. The 5-7 junior guard is averaging 26.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 8.17 assists and 2.67 steals in Big 12 games. She also owns the top two rebounding performances in the Big 12 this season.
Also the 41-point effort is the fourth best in NCAA Division I this season.
