STILLWATER, Okla. - The Baylor women's golf team finished 12th out of 16 teams today in the final round of the Big 12 Invitational held at Karsten Creek Golf Course in Stillwater, Okla. The tournament was hosted by Oklahoma State.
The Bears, ranked 30th nationally by Golfstat, were led by senior Tara Bateman who shot a three-round 236 (78-77-81) leaving her tied for 25th place.
Rounding out the individual scoring for the Bears were junior Hanna-Sofia Svenningsson who tied for 43rd (80-84-80=244), junior Melanie Hagewood shot 82-82-85 (249) leaving her tied for 48th, senior Nicole Johnson tied for 54th (89-75-86=250) and sophomore Michaelyn Morgan finished 75th after shooting 85-86-93 (264).
Oklahoma State took the title with a total score of 908, followed by Ohio State (923), Northwestern (927), Tulsa (929), and TCU (938).
The Bears will play in Price's Give 'Em Five Invitational hosted by New Mexico State Oct. 8-10.
