No. 13 Lady Bears Trounce Texas-Arlington, 90-55

WACO, Texas (AP) - Sheila Lambert scored 24 points and Danielle Crockrom added 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead No. 13 Baylor to a 90-55 win over Texas-Arlington on Tuesday night.

Lambert accounted for 14 of her points in the first half, while Crockrom had 13 in the first half.

Baylor (3-0) went on a 23-0 run after Melissa Fairley hit two quick field goals for Texas-Arlington to start the second half, holding the Lady Mavs scoreless for almost nine minutes and taking a 67-34 lead.

Fairley led Texas-Arlington (1-2) with 18 points. KeKe Strambler added 15.

Baylor trailed 6-5 early and went on a 17-0 run to take a 23-6 lead with 12:11 left to play before halftime. Texas-Arlington cut the margin to 28-20 on Krystal Buchanan's 3-pointer with 8:24 remaining in the first half but never mounted a serious challenge from that point on.
