Today, I finally got my pancakes for breakfast! We had a four-hour practice (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and then a quick lunch. After lunch, we went to a spa resort to have massages. We had an "interesting" traditional Japanese shower before getting our 30-minute massages that were excellent, if I may say so myself!
After the spa outing, we visited a Buddhist temple before returning to the dorms for dinner and some picture taking. We had an hour or so of "team-bonding" and official goal setting and then off to bed.
Since tomorrow (Thursday) is the last two-a-days practice ever for the seniors, I am getting anxious to return home. I hope that this is the start of something bigger than any one of us can even fathom. I have learned a lot for experiencing the Japanese culture, and the volleyball is even more impressive.
See you back in the States.
Love ya!!!
