DALLAS (AP) - Justin Isham had a career-high 17 points to lead SMU to a 66-58 victory over Baylor on Saturday night.
Bryan Hopkins had 16 points, Eric Castro had 11, and Patrick Simpson grabbed 14 rebounds for SMU (3-4).
Baylor (6-2) was led by Kenny Taylor, who scored 21 points. John Lucas added 10.
Baylor took an early lead, but a jumper by Bryan Hopkins with 8:26 left in the first half gave SMU the lead for good.
The Mustangs led 33-23 at halftime and were up by as many as 17 points in the second half.
SMU shot a season-best 47 percent from the floor, compared to 33 percent for Baylor.
