WACO, Texas (AP) - Lawrence Roberts scored 25 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Baylor to 97-45 win over Texas A&M on Sunday, the Aggies' second worst loss in school history.
Wendell Greenleaf added 18 points and John Lucas 13 for Baylor (13-8, 3-5 Big 12).
Leading 43-28 at halftime, Baylor outscored the Aggies 36-7 in the first 11 minutes of the second half, putting the contest out of reach.
Bernard King led Texas A&M (9-13, 3-5) with 18 points.
The Bears connected on 54 percent of their shots, hitting 31-of-58 fields, while the Aggies shot only 30 percent with a 17-for-57 performance.
Baylor's 52-point margin of victory represented the school's largest in Big 12 play. For the Aggies, it was the second largest margin of defeat - exceeded only by a 117-53 loss to UCLA in the 1971-72 season.
Baylor hit six-of-10 3-pointers in the first half, including three by Greenleaf.
