Women's Golf to Play in Bryan

WACO, Texas - The women's golf team will travel to Bryan, Texas March 4-5 to participate in the 2002 Verizon "Mo"Morial Invitational to be held at the Briarcrest Country Club (par 72, 6,100 yards). The tournament is hosted by Texas A&M.
The 18-team field consists of Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Kent State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and UTEP.
As of February 27, four participating teams were ranked by Golfweek including Kent State (24), Michigan State (13), Northwestern (17), and Ohio State (6).
The first day of play will consist of 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday.
