WACO, Texas - Live streaming video of at least 22 Baylor University basketball games, 13 women's contests and nine men's games, will be available on the Internet during the 2003-04 season through an agreement reached between Baylor University and New Media Networks.

The 22-game package begins this weekend with Lady Bear games against Mississippi State (Nov. 21) and Nicholls State (Nov. 22), as well as the Bears' Nov. 22 opener against Texas Southern.

"This will be an outstanding opportunity for our fans who can't make it to the Ferrell Center to follow the Bears and the Lady Bears," Baylor University Director of Athletics Ian McCaw said. "Not only will this service benefit our fans, but we also believe it can aid in our recruiting efforts, too."

All-told, the Internet package will feature all Baylor men's and women's contests from the Ferrell Center not carried as part of the Big 12 Conference or Baylor television packages. The Internet webcasts will feature the in-house BaylorVision production with audio provided by the Baylor Radio Network.

Fans can either purchase games on an individual basis for $6.95 per contest or on a season basis for $49.95. The season package includes all 22 webcasts and represents a savings of more than $100 off the cost if fans were to purchase each game individually. Access to the games can be obtained at baylorbears.nmnathletics.com.
