Ellis Kidd Jr. Dismissed from Basketball Team

WACO, Texas - Ellis Kidd Jr. has been dismissed from Baylor's men's basketball team for violation of team policy, head coach Scott Drew announced late Tuesday.
"We wish Ellis and his family the best in their future endeavors," Drew said.
The junior guard started all seven games this season for the Bears and averaged 13.4 points and 4 rebounds. He played in 27 games and averaged 4.3 points as a sophomore in 2002-2003.
Kidd Jr. transferred to Baylor from Seminole State College, where he played as a freshman in 2001-2002. He played in two games at Oklahoma State before redshirting in 2000-2001.
