WACO, Texas - Baylor men's and women's tennis teams will assemble on Wednesday to view the 2003 NCAA Tennis Selection show and the public is invited to attend. The selection of the 64 teams and first- and second-round sites, will be announced Wed., April 30 on ESPNEWS. The women's announcement will begin at 3:30 p.m. Central time and the men's announcement will begin at 3:45 p.m. (CST).

For those missing the televised announcement, the brackets will be posted on the NCAA website after the completion of the televised bracket announcement at http://www.ncaasports.com

The teams will be at Slo-Poke's Bar-B-Que, located at 215 S. 2nd Street in Waco (former site of Franklin's Seafood Grill). The public is invited to attend.

The men's team secured an automatic bid by winning the Big 12 Conference title, this will be the Baylor's men's sixth straight NCAA Tournament appearance. The women's team has appeared in the NCAA Tournament six times. Last season they missed the tournament for the first time since 1996, breaking a streak of six consecutive appearances.

The team brackets for both championships will include 64 teams. First- and second-round competition will be concluded May 9-11 at 16 different sites (four teams per site) for each championship.

For the women's championship, the 16 first- and second-round site winners will advance to the University of Florida to complete the round of 16 (Thurs., May 15), quarterfinals (Fri., May 16), semifinals (Sat., May 17) and the national championship (Sun., May 18).

For the men's championship, the 16 first- and second-round site winners will advance to the University of Georgia to complete the round of 16 (Sat., May 17), quarterfinals (Sun., May 18), semifinals (Mon., May 19) and the national championship (Tues., May 20).
