Bear Growl Scheduled for Nov. 4

WACO, Texas - Baylor Athletics will host Bear Growl at the Ferrell Center, Thursday, Nov. 4, at 6:00 p.m. The Bear Growl will tip off the men's and women's basketball season and a similar rally will follow in the spring for baseball, softball, track, golf and tennis. The fall semester Bear Growl will feature football, volleyball, cross country and soccer.
The event will give Baylor fans a preview of the 2004-05 basketball teams. The entertainment will include a welcome from Baylor President Dr. Robert B. Sloan Jr., speeches from head coaches Kim Mulkey-Robertson and Scott Drew, and contests between the student-athletes. The free program will conclude at 7:00 p.m.
