Head Coach Scott Drew
On how the team played tonight:
"It wasn't the prettiest game tonight but you learn from each win and loss. It is much better to learn from your wins as well. We did a nice job of starting out tonight. We don't have as many weapons to go to, and fatigue tends to play into our team so it is important to get out early."
On play of Kevis Shipman
"We did a good job of getting the ball to Kevis early on and he hit the shots when he had them."
On play of Tommy Swanson
"It was great to see Tommy play a whole half. We are not used to seeing him there, but he did a great job at rebounding for us tonight."
Patrick Fields, Baylor
On how the team shot tonight:
"We are working hard in practice at getting out early on and our coaches are doing a great job at getting us fired up for the game. We have to believe in our coaches and our system and come out with fire and intensity early on to get ahead."
Tommy Swanson, Baylor
"I have been working in practice at moving my feet and thus not picking up those ticky-tack fouls. We have been working on crashing the boards in practice and I think it showed tonight."
