WACO, Texas - An eight-page feature story about Baylor junior Jeremy Wariner (Arlington, Texas) appears in this week's issue (Dec. 6) of Sports Illustrated and is available on newsstands now.
The article entitled "The Color of Speed" is written by Gary Smith and includes many photos of Wariner, head coach Clyde Hart, Baylor legend Michael Johnson and a one-and-a-half page photo of Wariner with current Baylor track athletes, Darold Williamson, Chris Gillis, Jamen Saziru, Jerome Miller and Jeremy Jackson.
The article appears in SI's annual Sportsman of the Year issue, which has a photo mosaic which creates the Boston Red Sox logo on the cover.
