WACO, Texas - The Baylor men's track and field team dropped one spot and are tied for seventh, while the women fell out of the rankings for the first time this season in the latest Trackwire 25 released Tuesday.

The men's 4x400 relay squad held onto its No. 1 ranking in the Trackwire Dandy Dozen. The relay team is led by Big 12 indoor 400-meter champion sophomore Jeremy Wariner, who is ranked No. 1 in the country in the 400, and junior Darold Williamson, who ranks sixth, despite the country's third-fastest time. Freshman Mark Teter has run on the squad all year, while the fourth spot has been filled by either sophomore Jamen Saziru or freshman Kevin Mutai.

Senior Kyle King continues to hold down the eighth spot in the 5,000 meters, despite having the fourth-fastest time in the country in the event.

Senior Jordan Willmann fell out of the pentathlon rankings after beginning the season ranked second, even though she posted one of the Top 5 scores in the country at the Big 12 Indoor Championships. Junior April Holliness fell four more spots and is ranked 10th in the long jump. Junior Lakadron Ivery is ranked ninth in the 60 meters and 11th in the 200 meters, while the women's 4x400 relay squad of freshmen Lauren Tillman and Rena Napolean and juniors Ivery and Danielle Myricks moves up one spot to No. 10.

The Trackwire 25 projects a hypothetical score for the NCAA meet, factoring in injury reports and other variables supported by information gathered from coaches and NCAA-qualifying competitions across the country.
