WACO, Texas-The Baylor soccer team cruised to a 5-2 victory over TCU in action at Betty Lou Mays Field this evening. With the win, Baylor improved to 2-2-1 as TCU dropped to 2-3 on the season.

Zonker buried it into the back of the net for the 1-0 lead.

Tiffany Boshers gave the Bears a 3-0 lead as she took a pass from Kristin Ruef and beat Buchanan. Baylor got help from the Horned Frogs less than a minute later, as Schuch crossed the ball into the goal box that deflected off a TCU defender and into the net for a 4-0 lead.

After taking a 4-0 lead into halftime, Baylor extended the lead to five early in the second half as Martin connected for the Bears fifth goal of the game, beating substitute goalie Lindsay White off a low crossing pass for Zonker.

TCU finally connected for their first goal of the game with 24 minutes to go. Moore, given a free kick after a Baylor yellow card, fed a long pass into the goal-box to a waiting Kim Ozenick. Ozenick was there for the deflection as she headed it past Bears goalkeeper Kristin Weegar.

Moore cut the lead to three with a goal in the 78th minute, however, the Horned Frogs were unable to draw closer at the Bears went on to the 5-2 victory.
