When did you start playing your sport?
My freshman year of high school

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
Probably my high school coach, Terry Ohme

What is the best part of being a college athlete?
Scholarship

If you weren't playing the sport you are now, which sport would you want to play?
Softball

What is your nickname on the team and why?
Nic, just because it's short

After meeting coach Barnes, what was you first thought?
I thought he was a really great person. It's hard to tell a coach without being in the gym with him. I mean, he is just a really great guy and a really great family man.

What position would you like to play other than your own?
I've played them all. I've played middle blocker; I played middle last year. And I am playing right side this year, and I've actually played a little bit of left side now. I have just played everything.

What is the most unique item in your locker?
I guess laundry detergent

Where is your favorite place to go after a game/event?
Home

What is the best venue you have ever played in?
I love playing at Nebraska.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
In Hawaii last year I went back to jump serve and hit the ball straight up into the air, to the middle of nowhere. I don't even know what happened. It was way out. The whole crowd was just like, "Eww."

What opposing school do you most look forward to competing against?
I would say it's a tie between Texas Tech and Texas.

Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
Coaching and the Conference, Big 12.

What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave?
Probably the team

Who is your all-time favorite Baylor athlete?
Stevie Nicholas

What CD is in your player right now?
I don't really listen to any Cd's; I listen to the radio.

What is the last movie you watched?
John Q, I think.

What is one thing you must pack when traveling?
My Winnie the Pooh Bear

As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
To always believe in yourself not matter what anyone else tells you.

What is your favorite fast food?
Does Fazoli's count? Yeah, Fazoli's.

Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
I want to have six children.

Name one thing you can't go a week without.
Pasta

If you had to perform karaoke, what song would you sing?
A song with no lyrics. I can't sing, an instrumental.

What is your dream job?
Work with elderly people
