HEAD COACH Kim Mulkey-Robertson
"We came out of the gates pretty strong. The offensive effort was great, especially at the very beginning of the game. This was an enjoyable game to watch for the fans. The only mistake was on my part: I try to play everybody too much at the wrong time. I need to not sub so many so early. The biggest thing done wrong was done by me, and I take the blame for that. Our aggressiveness at the beginning was great to see."
On Baylor's fast start:
"I think our great start had a lot to do with the fan's energy. We got out of the gates strong on the offensive end. We made a lot of extra passes. Our field goal percentage looks great and we finished with a lot of assists. The 52 percent field goal percentage looks good, but our free throw percentage does not, and that is what we will work on."
Sophia Young, FORWARD
"We did not do a good job at passing at OSU, and that is what we have worked on since that game."
Chelsea Whitaker, GUARD
"It is great to be back at home after a road game stretch. Our fans have really spoiled us with their support and energy. It is good to be back in our arena with our fans."
"The last few games have been down to the wire and tight. In this game, we did a good job of spreding the points out so we didn't have to play down to the wire."
