WACO, Texas - The top-ranked Baylor men's tennis team travels to No. 7 Florida on Wednesday for a midseason, non-conference match against the SEC powerhouse.
Baylor is 9-0 on the season and have won a school record 33-staight matches dating back to last season. The Bears are coming off one of the closest matches of the season, after pulling out a close, 4-3 win against No. 16 Pepperdine last Friday.
As for the Gators, they enter the match with a 5-3 record, most recently falling to No. 2 UCLA, 4-1. Florida has dropped three of its last four, all against ranked opponents. The Gators have three individuals in the ITA rankings; No. 29 Greg Ouellete, No. 59 Vladimir Obradovic and No. 69 Chris Brandi. Janne Holmia and Oullete are the No. 36 doubles pair.
