The Bears will show a strong representation in the tournament with seven members of the men's tennis team participating in singles play. The tournament will feature two singles flights and one doubles flight. Matt Brown, Lars Poerschke, Vladimir Portnov and Jon Reckewey will compete in singles for the Bears.
Poerschke received a first round bye and will face the winner of the Anthony Portois (UTSA)/Thiago Dos Santos (Wichita State) match. Portnov will take on UTSA's Robin Fernandes in first round action while Reckewey takes the court against Diego Mattar of UT-Arlington and Brown, a freshman, will face TCU's Robert Gallman.
