When I was 11 in middle school

My mom

What is the best part of being a college athlete?
Getting to know a lot of people

Tennis

What is your nickname on the team and why?
Adie, Granny (I am the oldest one on the team), Brazilian Thunder

After meeting Coach Barnes, what was you first thought?
He was very calm and nice.

If you could play a different position, what would it be?
Setter

Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
I like to dance in the locker room.

What is the most unique item in your locker?
I have schedule posters from past seasons.

Who are your favorite sports heroes?
Ana Moser and Marcelo Negrao (Brazilian volleyball players)

What is the highlight of your sports career?
When I came back from two knee surgeries

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
During one game, I was going up to spike a ball and I hit it with the back of my hand.

What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
Two knee surgeries

What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against ?
Nebraska

What is one thing Coach Barnes always tells you?
He always tells me that he loves my passion and intensity.

What is your favorite team road trip?
Iowa State. I like the restaurant we go to.

Who is your biggest fan?
My mom and my boyfriend

Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
When the coaches came to recruit me, they gave me a volleyball media guide and I thought that the bear on the front was cute.

What's the most important thing you've learned as a Baylor athlete?
Baylor has taught me to do my best and be classy in everything I do.

What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave?
My teammates

What is one thing you would change about Baylor?
More parking

As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
Stay involved in sports, because they can take you places you never dreamed

What are three words that describe you?
Energetic, exciting, and talkative
