Send the Lady Bears Off to Tucson

WACO, Texas - The No. 3-seeded Lady Bears will depart from Waco Regional Airport on Thursday for their first round NCAA Tournament game against Northern Arizona Saturday, March 18 in Tucson, Ariz.

A send-off celebration is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Waco Regional Airport and will include short speeches by Head Coach Kim Mulkey-Roberston, Lady Bear student-athletes and Baylor President, Dr. John Lilley.

The defending national champion Lady Bears are appearing in their third straight NCAA Tournament and are currently ranked No. 10 in both the AP and Coaches polls. The first-round game will be televised on ESPN2 at 7 p.m.
