When did you start playing your sport?
Started running when I was 10 years old, I joined a track club and ran the 800 and the 400

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My parents. They are supportive of me and what I am doing and whenever I am doing bad or have a bad day they always cheer me up.

What is the best part of being a college athlete?
Competing on this level and being able to have friendships within the track team, and learning a lot more about life.

What is your nickname on the team and why?
I don't have one that I know of.

After meeting Coach Hart, what was you first thought?
I was kind of nervous because he is one of the greatest coaches ever to coach college track and field. And coming here, I'm pretty sure there were high expectations, and I was nervous about how I would fit in. I just thought he did a good job of integrating me into the system, and I really love it here.

If you could play a different position, what would it be?
The 200 meters

Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
I try to keep to myself, get away from everybody and try to concentrate on what I am about to run, and just try to focus.

What is the most unique item in your locker?
I don't have a locker actually.

Who are your favorite sports heroes?
Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals

What is the highlight of your sports career?
My senior year in high school when I was ranked going into the state meet and I had my best time ever. Being in the state meet had a real impact on me, and I thank God for that.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
In high school I was on the relay and I was battling for first place, I had to come from behind and tripped at the finish line and ended up getting third place.

What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
The transition from high school to college. Its been really difficult with classes, and the new life and staying focused on track the best I can.

What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against ?
Texas and Texas Tech

What is one thing Coach Hart always tells you?
Keep my form when I run and to relax, and to concentrate on getting out hard the first 75 meters and making it my own race.

What is your favorite team road trip?
Down to Austin for the Texas relays

Who is your biggest fan?
My mom

Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
I chose to attend Baylor because it's a great school and it has a lot of history and I thought that it would be a great fit for me to come and compete with the best in the world.

What's the most important thing you've learned as a Baylor athlete?
Focus on what God has planned for you, and to follow that out and carry that out and to be the best you can be. Don't worry about what other people are, and focus on what you are doing.

What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave?
Training with all these great athletes. I think everyone on the track team at Baylor is a great athlete, and it's an honor to be here.

Who is your all-time favorite Baylor athlete?
Darold Williamson and Jeremy Wariner

What is one thing you would change about Baylor?
Nothing I would change. I love it here.

As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
If you have a goal, follow it through. Don't let anyone bring you down. Keep working hard and eventually it will pay off in the long run.

What are three words that describe you?
Dedicated, Focused, and Hardworking

What song is stuck in your head right now?

What is your favorite T.V. show?
"24"

Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
I have two beautiful sisters

Name one thing you can't go a week without.
I can't go a week without watching sports

What is your dream job?
To work somewhere within sports

What's your most valued possession?
My computer

I am a good whistler

Biggest superstition?
I don't have one.

Biggest fear?
Falling

Biggest pet-peeve?
When people use toothpaste and keep it all messed up.

Brussels sprouts
