I was 6 yrs. old

My parents

What is the best part of being a college athlete?
The camaraderie you have with your teammates. Being able to be a part of something.

Favorite sport other than your own?
Diving

What is your nickname on the team and why?
"Perk"

After meeting your coaches, what was you first thought?
They're cool. I can get along with these people.

If you could play a different position, what would it be?
I would want to be a discus thrower or a shot-putter.

Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
I pray before I run

What is the most unique item in your locker?
I don't even know the combination to my locker

What is the funniest moment from Baylor practice?
Standing around and just laughing with the team

Who are your favorite sports heroes?
Florence Griffith Joyner and Jesse Owens

What is the highlight of your sports career?
Running in the Olympic trials in 2000 because I was only 15.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Also at the Olympic trials, my spike got caught in the track and I fell in front of everyone.

What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
Injuries and not being able to compete at the level you want to

What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against ?
Mainly Texas because that's our biggest rival.

What is one thing Coach Harbour always tells you?
Push through it, persevere.

What is your favorite team road trip?
Arkansas, because it's when we go to nationals for indoor so that's always fun.

Who is your biggest fan?
My parents

Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
The track program, the tradition they have especially with Darold and Jeremy and Michael Johnson.

What's the most important thing you've learned as a Baylor athlete?
Things aren't always what they seem.

What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave?
My teammates

Who is your all-time favorite Baylor athlete?
Darold Williamson

What is one thing you would change about Baylor?
The weather, I hate Texas weather.

As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
Know that with God you can do anything you set your mind to and nothing is impossible.

What are three words that describe you?
Loud, outgoing, and fun

What song is stuck in your head right now?
That snap your fingers dance! Lean wit' it, Rock wit' it!

What is your favorite T.V. show?
Golden Girls

Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
I like Scottie Pippen more then I like Michael Jordan

Work in a juvenile detention center
