BERKELEY, Calif. - Baylor senior outside hitter Nicole LeBlanc (Tampa, Fla.) hit .450 with a match-high 20 kills and 12 digs for her second straight double-double to lead the Bears to a 3-0 (30-25, 30-21, 30-18) victory over Montana in the Cal Molten Classic Saturday afternoon at Haas Pavilion.
Freshman middle blocker Anna Breyfogle (Buda, Texas) hit .333 with eight kills, four blocks and a pair of aces, while freshman right-side hitter Katie Sanders (Katy, Texas) hit .375 with seven kills and two blocks. Senior middle blocker Adeline Meira (Sao Paulo, Brazil) started in place of the injured Desiree Guilliard-Young, who missed the match with an ankle injury, and had five kills and four blocks.
Junior outside hitter Kristen Schramek (San Antonio, Texas) had a career-high four aces and also added four kills and five digs. Freshman setter Taylor Barnes (Arlington, Texas) had four kills, seven digs and 29 assists, while sophomore libero Amanda Renz (The Woodlands, Texas) had 10 digs
Montana was led by Claudia Houle, who had 17 kills and 12 digs. Jackie White also added 12 digs.
The Bears (2-0) outhit the Grizzlies (0-2), .284 to .176, and outblocked them, 9.5-2.0. Montana outdug Baylor, 48-41.

Angie Pressey had 20 kills and Hana Cutura added 18 as the 17th-ranked Golden Bears hit .394 as a team in a sweep of Baylor. Samantha Carter and Morgan Beck each had 10 digs to lead Cal.
LeBlanc and Guilliard-Young, who returned from an ankle injury in the evening match, each had eight kills and four blocks to lead Baylor, while Sanders added seven kills. Renz led the Bears with seven digs, while LeBlanc had six.
Baylor (2-1) will host the Clarion Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Ferrell Center. The Bears play Louisiana-Monroe at noon and New Mexico at 7:30 p.m. Friday, followed by Houston at 2:30 p.m. and Arkansas-Little Rock at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
