Baylor volleyball hosts Louisiana-Monroe, New Mexico, Houston and Arkansas-Little Rock in the Clarion Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Ferrell Center.
Senior outside hitter Nicole LeBlanc, who started in her 100th straight match last time out, leads the Bears and the Big 12 Conference with 4.90 kills per game and also leads the team and ranks sixth in the league with 3.90 digs per game. Freshman middle blocker Anna Breyfogle ranks third in the Big 12 with 1.70 blocks per game and is tied for fourth in the conference with 0.60 service aces per game.
The Bears are 2-1 with wins over UC-Davis and Montana, before falling to No. 17 California in the Cal Molten Classic last weekend in Berkeley, Calif. LeBlanc and freshman setter Taylor Barnes were named to the all-tournament team.
Baylor returns to action against Texas State Tuesday at 7 p.m. in San Marcos, Texas, before playing in the Austin Back/SFA Volleyball Invitational Friday and Saturday, Sept. 8-9, in Nacogdoches, Texas.
All matches, home and away, are broadcast live over the internet through CSTV All-Access. Gametracker is available for all matches during the Clarion Invitational.
