BAYLOR (11-1) vs. No. 24 Kansas State (8-2)

Baylor has won nine matches in a row, tying the program's best streak, as it enters Wednesday's Big 12 Conference opener against No. 24 Kansas State at 7 p.m. at the Ferrell Center. The match will be the first video broadcast of the season on CSTV All-Access, beginning at 6:45 p.m.
The Bears improved to 11-1 after sweeping the Austin Bank/SFA Invitational this past weekend, the best start since the 1999 squad started the year 13-1. Baylor is led by senior outside hitter Nicole LeBlanc, who averages 4.06 kills and 3.33 digs per game and was the MVP of the Austin Bank/SFA Invitational, while senior middle blocker Desiree Guilliard-Young was also named to the all-tournament team. Guilliard-Young is hitting .426 for the season with 3.00 kills and 1.41 blocks per game. Junior libero Kristen Schramek leads the Bears with 4.46 digs per game.
The Wildcats are 8-2 this season and are led by Sandy Werner with 3.91 kills per game and Jenny Jantsch with 3.40 kills per game. Angie Lastra leads KSU with 5.14 digs per game.
Baylor returns to action when it hits the road against Iowa State Saturday at 7 p.m. in Ames, Iowa. The audio broadcast will be available at 6:45 p.m.
