COLUMBIA, Mo. - Baylor freshman setter Taylor Barnes (Arlington, Texas) became the first player in school history to record double-digit service aces, as she pelted No. 19 Missouri with 11, but the effort was not enough as the Tigers held on for a 3-1 (30-23, 26-30, 32-30, 30-26) victory in Big 12 Conference volleyball action Wednesday night at the Hearnes Center.
Barnes, who also had nine kills, 43 assists and seven blocks, broke the five-year old mark of nine set by Laura Daniela Lloreda against Texas State Oct. 22, 2001.
