Women's Golf Heads to Wolverine Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Baylor women's golf team continues its season as the Bears head to Michigan to compete at the Wolverine Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 30. The 6,036-yard par-71 University of Michigan Golf Course will host Baylor, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Southern Methodist and Toledo.

The Bears are currently ranked 37th nationally in the latest Golfstat rankings and are 33rd according to the Goflweek ratings.

Senior Allison Martin leads the team with a 72.16 stroke average while Freshman Hannah Burke is second at 73.83 strokes per round.

Following the Wolverine Invitational, the Bears will take two weeks off before competing at the Price's Give-em Five Intercollegiate October 16-18 at the New Mexico State Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M.

The Bears will play two rounds on Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m. The tournament will conclude with a final round on Sunday.
