1. How did playing a non-conference schedule help your team this season?

It gave us all a little bit of experience. It got some of the freshman out there and gave them some experience on the floor, and it gave us a chance to play against some of the top players around the county.

2. How have the freshmen played this season?

They've played really well so far, but they haven't reached their potential yet. With them playing as well as they are now, it's going to be something serious when they do reach their potential and everybody's on the same page and playing together.

3. How were the holidays? Did you have a good break?

We got a nice little break of about eight or nine days. It was especially nice for the players who live out of state to go home and see their families. Once we got back we were right back to work again.

4. Most players have superstitions, what is yours? Do coaches?

I don't have any superstitions. Anything can happen on any given day, you've just got to take it one step at a time and one day at a time. I don't think the coaches are very superstitious either, just from what I've seen being around them for three years.

5. What is the most positive thing you have seen from your team so far this season?

The fact that everyone's playing together is always a positive. You're going to have to have everyone on the same page, focused and with the same goals. Another positive is where our freshmen are at now, and still having so much potential that they can reach. They're still climbing up and getting better and better every day.
