When did you start playing your sport?
I was six years old.

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My dad

What is the best part of being a college athlete?
You get the education and the professional training environment at the same time.

Favorite sport other than your own?
Soccer

What is your nickname on the team and why?
Big Al, my second name is Albert

After meeting Coach Knoll what was you first thought?
He looked funny with a shaved head. I picked him up at the airport and they had just won a national championship and they shaved his head.

Who are your favorite sports heroes?
Michael Stich. He won Wimbledon in 1991, he's German.

What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
At Baylor, to get through the morning workouts my freshman year

What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against ?
Texas A&M and Texas

What is one thing Coach Knoll always tells you?
Be aggressive on the court and have the right mindset.

What is your favorite team road trip?
When we went to Stanford last year for the NCAA Tournament

Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
It was the best mix of academics and athletics.

What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave?
The team spirit

Who is your all-time favorite Baylor athlete?
Benjamin Becker

As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
Always try hard and make the best out of your opportunities and don't waste your talent.

What are three words that describe you?
Competitive, goal oriented, focused

Snow, by Red Hot Chili Peppers

What is your favorite T.V. show?
Stump the Schwab

I like to listen to musicals

I can cook pretty well for a guy

On the court, whenever a big point is coming up and I won the previous point with one ball, I always try to get the same ball back and play the next point with it.

That I'll quit at something one day

When people talk 24/7
