Jones Third, Bradley Fourth at USA Juniors

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Nichole Jones finished third in the junior women's 1,500 meters and Danielle Bradley took fourth in the junior women's 800 meters this weekend at the 2007 Finish Line USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium.
Jones (Spring, Texas), the reigning Big 12 Indoor and Outdoor Freshman of the Year, clocked 4:23.35 in the finals of the junior women's 1,500 meters. Jordan Hasay won the race with a meet-record time of 4:16.98.
Bradley (West Palm Beach, Fla.) recorded a time of 2:07.62 to place fourth overall. The freshman ran 2:07.03 in the preliminary rounds to win her heat. Latavia Thomas of LSU ran 2:06.16 to capture the event title.
In action at the AT&T USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Darold Williamson clocked 44.97 to finish fourth in the men's open 400 meters. Angelo Taylor ran 44.05 to win the event.
Jeremy Wariner won his 200 meter preliminary heat with a time of 20.94, and will be seeded third in the semifinals. Semifinal and final heats of the 200 meters will take place on Sunday afternoon.
Chris Gillis finished 15th in the men's long jump with a best leap of 7.43m (24-04.50).
