Irving, Texas - Angela Tisdale (Baylor) was named Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week while Kelsey Bolte (Iowa State) was chosen Rookie of the Week by a media voting panel for games of Jan 14-20. Tisdale was honored for the first time in her career while Bolte was recognized for the second consecutive week.

Senior point guard Angela Tisdale averaged 21 points and five rebounds last week in Baylor's victories over Kansas and 11th-ranked Oklahoma. In the two games, the Austin, Texas, native shot 43.3 percent (13-30) from the floor and was perfect from the free throw line at 10-of-10.
Tisdale poured in 35 points against the Sooners to lead all scorers and propel the Lady Bears to an 84-73 road victory. In 40 minutes of action, she was 10-of-16 (.625) from the floor, including 5-for-9 (.556) from 3-point range, and was perfect from the free throw line at 10-for-10.
In Baylor's 59-35 victory over Kansas, Tisdale registered seven points and hauled down six rebounds in 25 minutes on the court. She also added four assists and a blocked shot.
Tisdale, who recently scored her 1,000th career point, leads the Lady Bears in scoring at 15.5 points a game and is hitting 84.0 percent from the charity stripe.
Tisdale is Baylor's third league player of the week this season, joining Danielle Wilson (Dec. 28) and Rachel Allison (Jan. 7).
