Men's Basketball to Host NCAA Selection Show Watch Party

WACO, Texas - The Baylor men's basketball team and coaches will watch the Sunday, March 16, CBS NCAA Selection Show live on the court of the Ferrell Center to find out if it has earned a berth in the postseason tournament. Fans are invited to join the team, the Bear Pit and Baylor's cheerleaders for the viewing party, and the media is welcome to attend. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. CDT prior to the 5 p.m. CBS telecast.
The selection show will be displayed on multiple large viewing screens, in addition to the Ferrell Center video boards and big-screen TVs. Free popcorn will be provided to those in attendance, and drinks will be available for purchase.
Following the selection show telecast, head coach Scott Drew will address the fans and be available for media interviews.
Baylor (21-10) has played in four previous NCAA Tournaments, its last appearance was 1988 when the Bears fell in the first round to Memphis State in the Midwest Regional in South Bend, Ind.
The hour-long selection show, hosted by Greg Gumbel, Clark Kellogg and Seth Davis, follows the live telecast of the Big Ten Championship.
