What do you feel about your leadership role on the team?
I feel like being here for four years has made me realize that leadership is not something that you are designated to. You learn from your teammates, you earn their trust and you learn how to motivate them.

What are the goals for the team in 2008?
The ladies have a good chance of doing well at conference. We want to go out there and do our absolute best. At nationals, I think we have a really good chance with our medley relay and several individuals we expect to perform well in both indoor and outdoor competition.

What are your personal goals for the season?
Personally for indoor I would like to break 60 feet. I have one more shot to go out here and do it. As far as outdoor goes, I would really like to break 60 meters. I feel like it is going to be a big year for me coming off of an injury from last year.

What is your favorite track moment?
Seeing the Olympians come out and practice with us. Seeing them and knowing that they started out as regular athletes, and through hard work and dedication they have become over the top athletes.

What advice do you have for your teammates?
Always give your best in whatever you do. That's all that you can do. Your best will set you up for greater success.
