Baylor returns to action with a pair of midweek home games this week. Tuesday, the Bears host TCU for a 6:30 p.m. CDT first pitch at Baylor Ballpark. Wednesday, the Bears entertain UT Arlington at Baylor Ballpark; first pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. for that game, as well. These games conclude a six-game home stand for Baylor; the Bears are 3-1 through the first four games of the home stand.

TCU (19-12) has won five straight after sweeping Air Force at home over the weekend. The Horned Frogs completed the sweep with a 3-2 victory in Sunday's series finale. He is the 14th Bear to earn Big 12 Player of the Week honors in the league's 12-year history. ... RF Aaron Miller has nine home runs on the season, matching Baylor's season leader each of the past three years (Josh Ford, 2005; Seth Fortenberry, 2006; Matt Czimskey and Beamer Weems, 2007). Miller is the first Baylor player with at least nine home runs in the regular season since Ford had 13 in 2004. ...
