When did you start playing your sport?
When I was 10. I played football up until then.

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My father, just knowing what he went through with his kidney transplant has given me motivation on and off the court.

What is the best part of being a college athlete?
Just life in general. It is a great experience that a lot of guys don't get the chance to enjoy.

Favorite sport other than your own?
Football

What is your nickname on the team and why?
D-Ray, it is something that has stuck with me for about 13 or 14 years.

After meeting Coach Drew, what was your first thought?
He's very energetic.

If you could play a different position, what would it be?
Shooting guard.

Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
I have a tattoo of my daughter on my arm and I give it a kiss every game.

What is the most unique item in your locker?
A picture of my daughter.

What is the funniest moment from Baylor practice?
I was dribbling the ball up the court full speed and got tripped up with Kevin Rogers and ended up running into some tables.

Who are your favorite sports heroes?
Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabar

What is the highlight of your sports career?
Almost having a double-double in a preseason game.

What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against ?
I want to play against the big name schools; Duke, North Carolina, Memphis.

What is one thing Coach Drew always tells you?
Play hard and work hard.

What is your favorite team road trip?
Kansas, we got to play a little miniature golf in the hotel.

Who is your biggest fan?
My son and daughter, they're at every game.

Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
I'm a big Christian and believe in the church. Baylor being a Baptist school helped.

What's the most important thing you've learned as a Baylor athlete?
Don't miss class.

What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave?
The love and support from everybody whether we are losing or winning. I have people come congratulate me and I will cherish that always.

Who is your all-time favorite Baylor athlete?
Jamie Kendrick

As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
Grades come first. You can be as great a player as you want to be, but if you don't take care of your grades, you can't play.

What are three words that describe you?
Funny, Sarcastic, Great.

What song is stuck in your head right now?
Gotta be a G till the day that I die.

What is your favorite T.V. show?
First 48

Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
I can sing.

Name one thing you can't go a week without.
Orange Soda

What is your dream job?
Be a D1 college basketball coach.

What's your most valued possession?
My Playstation 2. I've got to keep that around when times get bored.

Best non-athletic talent?
I can sing and play the piano a little bit.

Anthony Hamilton

Biggest superstition?
I'm very superstitious, if a black cat walks in front of me I turn the other way.

Biggest fear?
Failure, not being successful.

Biggest pet-peeve?
When people bite their nails and spit them out.

Least favorite food?
Anything green. I don't like green food at all.

3:10 to Yuma
