STORY LINES
• Baylor will put its nine-game win streak on the line when it travels to Las Vegas to participate in the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa, Dec. 19 & 20.
• Three Lady Bears are averaging double-digit scoring. Freshman post Brittney Griner leads the team with 18.7 points a game while senior Morghan Medlock tallies 12.9 and junior guard Melissa Jones is averaging 12.7.
• BU freshman post Brittney Griner became just the seventh female to dunk in a regular-season NCAA contest when she threw one down against Jacksonville State on Nov. 24. She is also a defensive threat as a shot blocker and alterer with her 88" wing span.
• In 10 seasons under head coach Kim Mulkey, Baylor is 246-67 (.786), which ranks her No. 4 nationally in winning percentage. In addition, the Lady Bear program ranks No. 6 among the NCAA Division I's winningest teams over that span.
Melissa Jones, Brittney Griner and Morghan Medlock combine for 24.0 (51.8%) of BU's 46.3 rebounds a game.
• Baylor's five starters, Kelli Griffin, Shanay Washington, Melissa Jones, Morghan Medlock and Brittney Griner are shooting a combined 51.3 percent (215-419) from the floor.
• As a team, Baylor ranks among the top 40 in NCAA Division I statistics in 11 categories, including eight categories among the top 15.
Brittney Griner received Big 12 Freshman of the Week honors for her performance the week of Dec. 7-13, it was the second time she's earned the honor this season.
• Griner recorded the program's first-ever triple-double with her 34 points, 13 rebounds and 11 blocked shots against Oral Roberts.
Melissa Jones was one rebound and one steal shy of a triple double against Oral Roberts, as she finished the night with 15 points, nine rebounds and a career-high nine steals.
• Griner's 11 blocks were both Baylor and Big12 single-game records.

FRESHMEN PRODUCING
All five of the team's freshmen are averaging 3.0 or more points a game. Brittney Griner leads the rookies with 18.7 a contest, Shanay Washington averages 7.3 points, Jordan Madden manages 6.9 a game, Kimetria Hayden scores 4.1 an outing and Mariah Chandler follows with 3.0 a contest.

All five average 8.9 or more minutes an outing, and two, Griner and Washington, are in the starting lineup.

CAN WE BE OF ASSISTANCE
Baylor players are dishing it out this season. In its 10 games, Baylor has collected assists on 180 of the team's 312 field goals made which accounts for assists on 57.7 percent of its shots.

Point guard Kelli Griffin (59) and Melissa Jones (34) account for 51.7 percent of Baylor's assists.

REBOUNDING EXCELLENCE
Baylor has outrebounded or equaled its opponent in nine of 10 games this year and is averaging a Big 12 Conferenceleading 46.3 a contest.

Freshman post Brittney Griner (8.7 rpg), senior forward Morghan Medlock (8.6 rpg), and junior guard Melissa Jones (6.7 rpg) are Baylor's top rebounders and combine to average 24.0 rebounds a game which equates to 51.8 percent of the squad's boards. The trio ranks No. 5, No. 6 and No. 15, respectively, among the Big 12 leaders.

HOTSHOTS
Baylor's five starters, Kelli Griffin, Shanay Washington, Melissa Jones, Morghan Medlock and Brittney Griner are shooting a combined 51.3 percent (215-419) from the floor.

In fact, seven Lady Bears who average over 13 minutes a game are shooting above 45 percent. Ashley Field is shooting a Big 12-leading .700 (35-50), followed by Morghan Medlock at .533 (49-92), Shanay Washington at .532 (33-62), Melissa Jones with .530 (44-83), Brittney Griner with .504 (62-127), Jordan Madden at .490 (24-49) and Kelli Griffin manages .455 (25-55).
