Bears Care Bear Drive: Dec. 5

The Lady Bears will host the 4th annual "Bears Care Bear Drive" Saturday, Dec. 5, when Louisiana Tech visits the Ferrell Center for a televised matchup on FOX Sports Southwest.

Fans can get into the game for only $5 for donating a new, toy bear.

Later in the month, the Lady Bears will personally deliver the bears to children and other people at Hillcrest in time for the holiday season.

"It was such an awesome experience for us," said sophomore guard Lindsay Palmer after last year's bear drive. "We are so blessed in our lives and to be able to bring some pleasure to people, who are undergoing some hardships and illness, truly warmed our hearts."
