Volleyball Sets Spring Schedule

WACO, Texas - The Baylor volleyball team has set its spring practice and tournament schedule, head coach Jim Barnes announced on Wednesday.
In addition to hosting a tournament on April 18 at the Student Life Center, the Bears will travel to the Texas State Tournament in San Marcos on March 28 and the fourth-annual Texas Tornados College Tournament in Houston on April 4.
Baylor will also play an exhibition match at TCU on April 25.
Also, the volleyball team's spring trip to China, originally scheduled for May 15-27, has been rescheduled for 2010 due to nationwide economic troubles.
Baylor returns all seven starters, including All-Big 12 and All-Central region players Taylor Barnes and Anna Breyfogle, from its 2008 squad that finished the season with an 18-13 overall record, including a 9-11 mark in the Big 12.
The spring tournament on April 18 will be open to the public and free of charge.
