Relay, Betters Lower Times at Last Chance

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Baylor women's 4x400-meter relay and 400-meter runner LeJerald Betters lowered their season-best times at the Alex Wilson Invitational hosted by Notre Dame.

The relay ran a season-best time of 3:37.29 to finish fifth overall. The relay members consisted of Katrina Taylor, Brittany Bruce, Diamond Richardson and Egle Uljas.

Betters, who did not compete in the open 400 meters until the Big 12 Indoor Championships, lowered his time to 46.23 to win the event. The time is a personal-best time indoors for Betters.

The Bears returns to action on Friday afternoon at the NCAA Indoor Championships in College Station, Texas.
