Fans Encouraged to Welcome Back Men's Hoops Team

UPDATED: Flight delayed, pushes arrival time back to 6 p.m.
The Baylor men's basketball team will return from New York City today after an outstanding run in the 2009 NIT. After victories over Georgetown, Virginia Tech, Auburn and San Diego State in route to the championship game, the Bears fell to Penn State 69-63 in last night's finale at Madison Square Garden.
Unless the team is delayed by weather, the Bears will arrive at Waco Regional Airport's Texas Aero today around 6 p.m. Fans are welcome to come out to congratulate Coach Drew and his Bears for an outstanding season and electrifying post season.
