VB Goes 3-1 at Texas Tornados

WACO, Texas - The Baylor volleyball team compiled a 3-1 record at the Texas Tornados Collegiate Tournament last weekend in Houston.
After sweeps of Louisiana, Sam Houston State and Denver in the best 2-out-of-3 format, Baylor split the first two sets with Arizona and lost in the deciding third set.
Katie Sanders led the team with 28 kills, while Briana Tolbert continued her efficient hitting with a .440 hitting percentage. Ashley Byrd added a .417 hitting percentage for the Bears.
Following a open weekend, Baylor returns to action on April 18 as the Bears host the Baylor Tournament at the Student Life Center. All matches are open to the public and free of admission.
